Hey guys! I hope everyone is well! This is a different post from us, but we thought it was a cool experience that we wanted to share. We were also so pleased with the result that we couldn’t resist telling the story of the “Draw My Bikes”
While searching for a new logo for the Bikepackist, I came across many graphic designers. I went to one with an idea to make logos out of a few of the bikes in my collection. The Ritchey Outback, Lynskey GR270, Carerra Vulcan, and my Yoeleo R12.
I was hoping for something basic, just a simple drawing of some of my bikes. I wanted cartoon, but classy. I needed something I could put on a T-Shirt to advertise the channel. I got talking to a designer, and before I knew it, they had my money.
The designer asked me to send some pictures of a few of my bikes just from the side, and I took to my Instagram to look at what I had. They were satisfied with what I sent and said they needed a week to draw my bikes.
A week passed, and I got an email with the results. I was extremely pleased with what they had come up with. I was half expecting cheap AI tools and basic cutting skills, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
The result was incredible, and they got exactly what I wanted. Here are the results below. I have put the original picture I sent and the designer’s version. After I was so impressed, I went straight to a contact of mine and got him to make me a sample shirt, which turned up today, and I was over the moon with it.
The Results

I think there’s some scope that I might offer this service to other cyclists and use it to help fund the channel… Would you be interested? I know the draw my bikes experience was excellent for me.
